Sumig torches have been enjoying significant success in automatic welding equipment.

Delta Hydraulics of Devonport, Tasmania have been using Sumig TPR torches for welding flanges on monster hydraulic cylinders for 6 months. Distributor, Gary von Schill of Precision Tool and Welding Supply says, "The consumption of spares is minimal, and productivity has taken a leap upwards."

Pump and Valve engineering in Perth has been using a TPR torch with an extended neck for hardfacing valve bodies since the beginning of the year. "The reliability is remarkable" says manager Alan Mills, "especially when combined with Ceramishield spray to further protect the front end parts against the agressive environment."
